About Us
How we came about...
Playmakers was created by three guys: One, a sports card collector for over thirty years with a love for the hobby that just never faded away, another who's love for sports is contagious, with a very heavy background in retail sales and business management, and a third partner who has been a hobby shop employee for over ten years, with a dream of owning his own, and is an avid gamer who also has a love for sports. They joined together to create a business where they could not only utilize their expertise, but could also be a part of something they love while bringing into the homes of the rest of the World. After a few weeks of discussions and all the right pieces falling into place, Playmakers Sports Cards, Memorabilia, & Gaming was created.
Bradley has been collecting cards for over 30 years and brings his experience to the company. He believes that in order to enjoy your job you must do something you love, and Bradley loves sports, cards, and memorabilia! "There is nothing like the smell of fresh wax, cardboard, and ink at any given time. It creates its own kind of addiction!" Monte has been in retail sales for many years. He has also been a part of some very successful business operations and even started a few companies of his own. As a fellow collector himself, he can not wait to get back into the hobby and offer a new option to the community. Justin has been a collector for a long time. He has competed at some serious levels in the gaming industry and has a first love for football. He is a tech minded individual that loves to share his passion for the hobby with the general public. Bradley and Monte have been co-workers for seven years in the hospitality industry. From building new concepts to taking over tired properties, they have built a friendship that can't be denied. Justin and Bradley have known each other for about ten years from Justin's time at the LCS. With many transactions passed back and fourth, they wouldn't have this partnership any other way. Creating Playmakers just made perfect sense. We hope you enjoy our breaks here at Playmakers and never hesitate to reach out to any of us with questions you might have.
